I have never been the type of girl to wear alot of outrageous makeup; in fact, I prefer the natural, not-too-overdone look. Until recently, the only makeup I ever owned was foundation, concealer, pressed powder, mascara, and one small natural-colored eyeshadow palette (because for special occassions, when I actually wanted to spend extra time doing my makeup, I would just swipe on one layer of eyeshadow). Now, I still prefer the natural look but I have added a few pieces to my small makeup collection and have been experimenting more with different types of makeup. Below is a little haul of the new beauty products I have purchased within the last month along with my opinions about them so far. This is the first time that I have ever really cared to spend my extra money on makeup and I have to admit, I think it is my new obssession!

Urban Decay Show Pony Shadow Box
This eyeshadow box includes 6 extremely pigmented, vibrant, flamboyant eyeshadows that are versatile enough to create any daytime or nighttime look. The colors included in this palette are Snatch, Mildew, Flash, Pain Killer, Smog, and Toasted. Also included in the shadow box is an Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in the color Zero and a sample size of everyone's favorite Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Original. This is my first time trying the primer potion and I will never wear eyeshadow again without this! The packaging of this boxed set is very artsy and beautiful. I would recommend this set to anyone!

Sephora Collection Pure Natural Believer Palette- Wanderlust Edition
This palette is a must have for any girl who is into beauty and the environment. The case is made from sustainable bamboo and is simply gorgeous and lightweight. All of the eyeshadows and the blush contain at least 95% natural ingredients. The palette includes 6 lustrous shades of eyeshadow and one blush. The colors of they eyeshadows included are Amazon, Cayman, Baltic, Sahara, Serengeti, and Andes. The blush comes in the shade Mojave.

Smashbox Eyeshadow Quad- Bright Eyed
This eyeshadow quad is the perfect compact size and the colors create an amazing smokey eye when used together. The eyeshadows are pretty pigmented and after using this, I will definitely try out other Smashbox products.

Too Faced Walk of Shame Set
This is my favorite set that I have purchased from Sephora yet! If you tend to have alot of unexpected sleepovers, this set is a must have for your purse. It includes everything you need to freshen up in the mornings after a long night. It includes a mirrored palette with 2 shades of eyeshadow (Silk Teddy and Totally Toasted) and the perfect shade of bronzer in the color Sun Bunny Light. It also includes a classic lipstick in the color Totally Nude. There are also 2 primers. The first is an all-over face primer called Primed and Poreless which I use under the bronzer to give my face a flawless look. The second is an eyeshadow primer called Shadow Insurance which I have heard alot of great things about and was so excited to try! It will keep your eyeshadow in place all day and will not crease up on you. Also included are a small pack of Oral Fixation gourmet mints and a mini toothbrush. All of these products come in a cute, girly black and pink cosmetic bag. Always be prepared with the Too Faced Walk of Shame Set!

Benefit Cosmetics Stay Put Set
This set is perfect for anyone who is looking to test out different primer and concealer products. 'Stay Don't Stray' is a primer that can be used as a base for your concealer or eyeshadow. The 'Erase Paste' is a correcting illuminator that can be used to cover up under-eye circles or facial blemishes. The set also includes a creaseless cream shadow that can also be used as an eyeliner. I would like to note that these are just sample sizes and do not contain very much product. But there is enough product to be able to use it over a course of a few days, enough time for you to decide whether or not to buy the full size products.

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals SPF 15 Matte Foundation- Medium Beige
For being a Sephora Beauty Insider, I received a 10-day free supply of bareMinerals matte foundation and translucent powder along with a mini kabuki brush. This foundation and powder gives me the perfect amount of coverage for everyday wear. It is not too sheer and it is not to thick or cakey. Using the kabuki brush with the minerals helps buff away any redness or uneven skin tone. The SPF is also a plus!

Sephora Collection Happy Birthday Beautiful Eyes Kit
This is another free Sephora Beauty Insider set that I received for my birthday. The eyeshadow is perfect as a highlighter and the eyeliner is great to use if you want to give your eyes a color pop. The mascara has a rich, black formula and is great to use during the daytime.

Hard Candy Spotlighters All Over Highlighter- Brown Palette
This is my new favorite highlighter palette that I will continue to use everytime I put on my makeup. The palette includes 4 shades of creamy, illuminating spotlighters that are perfect for any skin tone. I love using this to give my face a natural glow. I recommend placing this on the inner tear ducts of your eyes, below the arch of your eyebrows, and on your cheeks.

L'Oreal Paris Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner- Black
This eyeliner has the ease of application like a pencil but the consistency of a liquid. Best eyeliner pencil ever! Enough said!
